A Totally Tribal Sneek Peak and Template #43

Kellybell Designs is going to the jungle!  Stay tuned this week for something totally tribal!

Mousescrappers is celebrating its second anniversay all month long with lots of challenges and fun games.  It's been a busy month so far.  I'm trying to keep up with all the challenges before the marathon week of speed scraps happens starting on Sunday.  Here's a listing of all the fun activities...

Here's what I've completed so far.  First was the cake decorating contest.  We got a cake template and needed to make it unique with lots of cool papers and decorations.  I decided to go with a Star Wars theme in support of our upcoming trip next month.

Next was the Bake Me A Cake challenge where we were given a list of instructions and a set of optional instructions to build a layout.  Here's the boy's visiting with Mike from Monsters Inc.

The Cake Smash challenge involved taking 2 layouts from the gallery and smashing them together to make a layout.  Like a double scrap lift!!  This got me motivated to work on a 2-page layout of the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade at Magic Kingdom.

And I've completed a few other non-layout challenges like the Scavenger Hunt, Hide And Go Seek challenge and the photo swap challenge called All Things Disney A-Z.  It's been very busy but lots of fun.  Mark your calendar for a huge blog hop on May 22nd.  I've got a freebie in there for you.

And speaking of freebies, I haven't posted a template in a while, so let's get to it!!  This one was inspired by Matthew's soccer layout.  Hope you enjoy it!!

Retro Diner By Natalie's Place Designs

Natalie always has fabulous ideas for kit!  Today is no exception. 'Retro Diner' is a fun kit inspired by 50's Prime Time diner in Hollywood Studios.  It's got some old fashioned pastel colors of green, pink and blue.  Plus lots of food and dessert items, including a make-it-yourself sundae station!  Cool, huh?  If you've ever eaten in a diner, you'll just have to grab this kit!

We've eaten at 50's Prime Time, but I always forget to take pictures of us inside the restaurants.  I'm committing to take more pictures during our June trip coming up soon.  Here's what I scrapped.  The view master and reel are neat!

Then I used Natalie's 'Lovin Those Curves' to scrap a page about our favorite dining experiences.

Make sure you stop by Natalie's blog to purchase this kit and to snag her freebies.  Then of course, it's time to do the blog hop throughout Natalie's Creative Team ..... starting with Lisa's blog, then to Cynthia's blog, and finally to Sandy's blog.

Here's my freebie today.  An Eat Dessert First wordart title and a cute little diner frame!  Enjoy and happy scrapping!

Happy Easter and Template Freebie #42

Happy Easter!  Hope you have some fun family activities planned like egg hunting and egg dyeing, then a delicious Easter dinner to share with loved ones.  We've got an Easter egg hunt this morning at our church.  It's a huge hunt with more than 10,000 eggs hidden all over the church grounds.  They have a small petting zoo, lots of cute crafts for the kids to do and a bouncy house.  Lots of fun!

I've got another template for you today.  One from the layout of our beautiful dog Marley when he was a puppy.  He faithfully fetches our newspaper every morning!  Here's my page.

And here is your template.  Have a wonderful holiday weekend!  Enjoy and happy scrapping.

Cool Curvy Templates By Natalie's Place Designs

She's discovered waves and curves!  Natalie's got 2 new templates for you with lots of wavy, curvy strips!  They're lots of fun if you want a cool journal page or a splashy border page.

Head over to Natalie's blog and grab up these templates.  I've wanted to redo my Pinocchio page and thought the wavy border on the side would be a great flair for his page.  I also thought the papers for Woody would work well all swirled together.  Here's what I made.

Here Comes Templates #40 and #41

OK, I promised you another template twosome and here we go!!  I made this layout for Frontier Donald and Goofy with Kellybell's 'On The Frontier' kit.  I liked the format so much, I quickly did another page with Minnie and Pluto.  I'm getting closer to finishing up my April 2010 Photobook with all these pages.

So now we've made it up to 40 templates!  Woohoo!  Here is template #40.  I love the big photo in the middle.

Next is a layout with soft rounded edges in the middle.  This was my layout for Canada with Natalie's 'Northern Exposure' kit.

It's a pretty simple design but one you can dress up with lots of little clusters around the photos.  Here is template #41.

How About Some Mickey Magic!!

While all the construction happens at Disney building the new Fantasyland, Mickey Mouse had to find a new place for meet-and-greets.  Now inside Town Square, Mickey has a new home and a new theme - MAGIC!  I can't wait to see it all when we visit in June.  Today, Natalie's Place Designs has captured that magic with a kit full of magic hats, wands, playing cards, dice, rabbits and some fabulous papers in black, red and yellow.  Her kit is called 'Magic Show'.

It was lots of fun to play with this kit.  All the magic elements are so cool.  It was very quick to create a Mickey Magic page.  All the papers and elements blended so well together.  I also created a page for Chef Mickeys.  The alpha is just so bright and sparkly!  And Natalie's included 2 alphas in this kit!  Make sure you stop over to Natalie's blog to grab this kit and her freebie gift.

There's so many possibilities with this kit!  For your freebie today, I created a fun magic frame.  Just drop in your Mickey photos!!  Natalie's Creative Team gals have some awesome goodies for you as well.  Don't you just love all these freebies!!  First hop over to Lisa's Blog, then to Cynthia's Blog, and then to Sandy's Blog.  You're just going to love this kit!

City of Tomorrow By Kellybell Designs

Epcot first opened on October 1, 1982. Epcot, which stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, was Walt Disney's dream to create a utopian city of the future complete with housing, schools and businesses plus a monorail to move the people around. How cool would that be to live in a Disney city like that? Sadly, Walt Disney died before getting to see his dreams come true in Orlando. But each day, millions of people celebrate their own magic at Disney throughout the world. Today, Kellybell Designs has a new kit dedicated to Epcot and all the futuristic thrills it brings. It's called....

This kit has 15 cool papers with metallic tones and geometric patterns. There's 45 elements with lots of shiny stars, globes, spirals, gears and wires -- everything you need for that futuristic layout. Plus Kelly has a fabulous metallic alpha that's just perfect to create your own Epcot titles. The matching word art pack includes 7 awesome titles that mix the silver metallic alpha with a hint of blues and reds.

Rush on over to buy 'City Of Tomorrow' and the matching word art pack
It's on sale this weekend only for 25% off.
Make sure you grab them before Sunday!!

While this kit is a perfect match for Epcot layouts, it's very versatile for scrapping your adventures in home project, robots, transportation and much more. Here's what I created with 'City Of Tomorrow'...

Kellybell's Creative Team is always hard at work creating great layouts and fun freebies for you with each kit. Make sure you stop by Lisa's Blog for her gorgeous paper stack freebie, then hop to Roxanna's Blog to grab her beautiful cluster, and finally over to Julie's Blog for her amazing word art. Enjoy your goodies and leave some love for the girls!!

Another Template Twosome!

I've been busy with challenges and CT layouts and haven't posted my template freebies in a while, so I'm catching up this week.  Today you'll be getting 2 templates.  First up is the Test Track layout made with Natalie's Place Designs 'Crash Test Dummies'.  I like having multiple paper blocks and mats on my layouts.

Next is a really fun page I created for our meeting with the Simpsons characters at Universal Studios.  It was for the Mousescrappers Scraplift Challenge.  I loved the host's layout with slanted papers so I made some big blocks of papers and tilted them for my layout.  I really liked how this turned out.  My boys thought the Simpsons ride was awesome.  Plus Bart and Homer are very silly, talking about burping and stuff, which of course is hilarious when you're a little boy!

Hope you enjoy your templates!  Later this week I'll be posting another template twosome so make sure you check back with me.  Enjoy and happy scrapping!
