Mania! From Kellybell Designs

One of the hottest rides at Disney's Hollywood Studios is Toy Story Midway Mania.  It opened in May 2008.  Every day tons of people line up each morning waiting for the rope to drop when the park opens.  They make a mad rush straight through Pixar Place to grab a FastPass or to get in line for the ride.  It's so popular because it's so thrilling and fun.  How many pictures have you taken of your family wearing the yellow 3D glasses??  We all look hysterical in them, don't we?  The theming in the queue is amazing with all the gigantic toy pieces and game parts.  And of course there's Mr. Potato Head talking to you and making jokes as you pass by.  All that carnival excitement is the theme for Kelly's newest collection called....

Inside this new kit, you'll find 15 papers in bright colors and whimsical patterns.  The elements include balloon targets, dart board, crayons, darts, 3D glasses, stars, toy cannon, ticket, flowers, flairs, movie reel, candy apple, popcorn box, rubber duck, cloud and much more.  You'll also get 2 amazing alphas - a scrabble tile alpha and a full  yellow alpha outlined in red.

Don't forget about the can't live without premades offering you 4 paper stacks and 5 page starters.  These really change the way you look at scrapping.  It makes it so easy to get started on a page.

No layout is ever complete without a fabulous title.  While we all know that the photos and the journaling are the heart and soul of scrapbooking, you have to admit that a good word art title puts the icing on the cake!!  Check out these 5 word arts.

Kelly's store is growing by leaps and bounds.  Make sure you take time to browse through all the collections.  As you you know, this new release is on sale for 25% for this weekend only.  Everything can be found at  Have fun shopping!!

You can find lots of layout inspiration on Kelly's blog post for this new collection.  Make sure you check out the Kellybell Gallery where all the CT layouts are posted.  This kit is so colorful and versatile.  Take a look at what I created for Mr. Potato Head.

When you visit the carnival, you always want to win a prize.  Well, we've got 3 prizes for you today created by Kelly's CT.  Here's where you'll find them.  Looking forward to seeing what layouts this collection inspires you to create.  Happy scrapping!

I always love Natalie's choices of papers in her kits.  They all blend so perfectly together, especially the patterns mixed with the stripes and solids.  Here's 2 pages of our meeting with Goofy.

Kellybell Designs March Blog Challenge

Kelly's got a new challenge for you this month.  Last month's focus was on the girls.  This month's focus is on the boys.  It's only fair, right??  Everyone who submits a layout each month will receive a participation prize.  And the most outstanding layout will receive a gift certificate to Kelly's store.

Here's the participation prize you'll receive this month for playing along.  It was made by CT Member Jamie using the Return To Neverland kit and it's perfect for the 'Boys At Play' theme.

Here are the rules and instruction to participation in the Monthly Blog Challenge:
  • Scrap a page that focuses on boys fun at Disney. This can be a meet and greet with a male character (like Mickey Mouse, Peter Pan, Duffy, Pluto) or a ride/show that's more targeted to boys (like Star Tours, Indiana Jones Show, Pirates of the Caribbean) or any photos with your son, father or husband in it. Just as long as there's something boyish in your layout.
  • You can use as many photos as you want and include as many elements and papers that you choose.  We want to see your creativity sparkle!
  • Layouts should be made with 100% Kellybell products or freebies (you are allowed to use a template from another designer).  You are welcome to submit more than 1 layout.
  • Post your layout into the Challenges Gallery at Kellybell Designs by midnight EST March 31st.  Participation prizes will be sent to the email address you have listed with Kelly's gallery.
The most outstanding layout will be announced the first week of April.  That's also when the participation prizes will be sent out.

Take a look at these kits below that might be helpful for scrapping your challenge layout.

With so many amazing kits to choose from, I'm sure you'll find some great kits to scrap with.  For some inspiration and layout ideas, here's a page that I scrapped.  Have fun creating your layout.
